Admission applications can be submitted for Class 6th in Punjab Daanish Schools for Boys and Girls from all over Punjab till 27 January, 2021. As per government of Punjab orders, due to Covid-19 the dates for written entry test will be announced later through newspapers and official website of PDS&CEA. The eligibility criteria for admission is as follows: Total income of parents must not exceed Rs. 15,000/-. He is an orphan having lost both of his parents and being taken care of by an elder sibling or a member of the extended family. He is an orphan and living with his mother. His both parents are illiterate; the parents do not own any immovable property and either of them is disabled. He has been a school dropout. His parents do not have any fixed job or source of income. He is not a resident of a town, Tehsil or district Headquarters and neither of his parent is a semi-skilled or unskilled menial village worker, he is a resident of a town, Tehsil or district Headquarters and resides in a Katcha house.
For admission in Class 6th the age bracket is 10-12 years of boys and 10-13 for girls. 10% seats are reserved for Self Finance students. Apart from the deserving seats reserved for Punjab, a quota is allocated for KPK, Baluchistan, Sindh, Gilgit-Baltistan, FATA and AJK. Admission form can be downloaded from the Authority website: www.daanishschools.edu.pk or can be obtained from relevant offices of District Education Authorities, all Daanish Schools situated in Rahim Yar Khan, Hasilpur, Chishtian, Mianwali, Attock, DG Khan, Rajanpur & Vehari.
